Safety First

This page will hopefully remind you of some things you need to do to keep your house and family safe.  We'll try to add to this page as we find some better pictures.

Next is a picture you may want to show your kids.  You've probably heard that in a fire you want to drop down to the floor and crawl out on your hands and knees. You probably remember it's because smoke goes up but did your also remember that heat goes up?   Take a look at the walls of this picture.  You can see how the wood is destroyed.  You would be too if you were standing there.  Yet look a little lower.  The bottom of the wall isn't even charred.  Where would you rather be, up high in the heat that was intense enough to burn this wall, or down low where it wasn't nearly as hot?  This picture is worth a thousand words.
