Here are a few more pictures from the BBQ held at the Old Soldier's Festival in 1998 under the big red tent.  It makes the pictures look rather strange but we thank the Covington, Ohio fire department for letting us use their tent each year.  There is more than one form of "mutual aid" in play here.

It starts with preparing the serving line and getting some of the items on the table.

Next we start to place the chicken halves into the serving trays.

As the trays move down the line they get chips, apple sauce, a roll, pop, and maybe some desert.

Once in a while we have a few extra people.  Usually we're looking for more help.

Lastly you pay for dinner and then it's off to enjoy it's great flavor!
