 These events are held in combination with other community activities such as when our band wins at contests.  Newton Schools has an outstanding band and we're happy to support the students in such a positive activity.  We also have parades for our softball teams, and even at Halloween.  How many places do you know where they close Main Street so the kids can show off their costumes in safety?
